Students in grades 4-12 are invited to take part in this excellent contest to get kids writing about what they are reading, sponsored by the Library of Congress. Students are asked to write a letter to an author of a book, a play, a poem, or a speech, telling the author how the work changed their lives in some way. Deadlines are quickly approaching.
