Due to extreme flu conditions we are altering the exemption policy for this semester. Students who have a B average in individual classes and miss less than 3 days can still be exempt from their final exams. Also, students who miss one day or less the last nine weeks, maintain a "B" average in individual classes, and have good behavior the last nine weeks can also be exempt from final exams. Note, if your child checks out of school they will be counted as absent for the classes they miss. For example, Julie checks out of 8th period three times, she is no longer eligible to be exempt from her 8th period class due to having three absences for that class.
