In February, middle school students across Mississippi were given the opportunity to audition for the Mississippi ASBDA (American School Band Director’s Association) Middle School All State Band.  Olive Branch Middle School Band participated this year for the first time in this process.  Results have recently been posted, and we have the honor of having eight of our eighth-grade band members selected to this prestigious all state honor band.  Students who will represent our school are:

Josh Howard, euphonium
Jeremiah Smith, percussion
Nolan Boucher, percussion

In late May and early June, the students will attend a four day clinic and give performances at Pearl River Community College in Poplarville, MS.  Congratulations to our first ever OBMS  Middle School All State band members!
