Mustang Pride Program
Center Hill Elementary School

Posted On: Tuesday, January 21, 2014

Our Mustang Pride program is our positive behavior program which rewards students and staff for demonstrating the qualities of good behavior. Throughout the week, our students earn Mustang heads when they are caught being good. At the end of the week, we draw one Mustang from each grade’s Mustang heads to be our Mustang Pride winners of the week.

These students come to the office where they participate in a “brag” phone call made to their parents from the principal. They then choose one of the following rewards: eat lunch at a special table with a friend, extra PE time with a friend, extra recess time with a friend, office or library helper, carry a stuffed animal for a day, read a book to another class, or a snack of his/her choice from the vending machine.

Staff members can also receive Mustang heads whenever they are caught going the “extra” mile for the students or other staff members. Each week we choose two staff members to be the Mustang Pride winners for the week. They also get a special reward from the principal.
